For HIV-positive people, who are either homeless or no longer can stay at home.
THE IDEA
Enable HIV-positive people to receive treatment in a protected environment in order to fully benefit from their medication and feel “at home” during the treatment period. The purpose of admission to these flats is to recover an ordinary life.
FOCUS ON
The long-term HIV/AIDS shelters of the Paris region
These flats provide accommodation for one to three beneficiaries ; and simultaneously, a multidisciplinary professional team provides medical and psychological assistance, these actions usually provided separately are now coordinated and offered conjointly.
This protected environment maximizes the chances of recovery, preventing further discrimination and high-likely relapses.
