The Needs
For those with a high risk of contamination but not necessarily infected, such as migrant workers (one third of the HIV-positive population), individuals with homosexual orientations, and the underprivileged company workers ; but also HIV-positives.
THE IDEA
To raise awareness of risks, protective measures and treatments, and to direct people to the appropriate organizations.
The core idea is to meet people where they live, developing new concepts in order to properly target and communicate on such difficult subjects.
FOCUS ON
The prevention program aimed at Chinese migrant workers in the Paris region
To ensure that this community is not excluded from prevention awareness, we develop specific prevention programs. People with migrant backgrounds are constantly being integrated in our teams. They are trained about HIV and STD issues in order to be able to speak about these topics in their own community and social networks.
FOCUS ON
The L’école de la santé programme
This programme is a six-day training session about health and HIV. Its purpose is for those infected with HIV or other STDs to understand their disease and thus take better care of themselves. This program has been run by health professionals since 2005, holding three sessions a year.
