To provide emergency housing along with individual assessment and orientation. Youths are sent to these centres by court decision.

Centre Ti’Kaz (French Guyana)

youth offenderTi’Kaz receives minors placed there by court decision. It is an alternative to incarceration. Ti’Kaz residents enjoy nature excursions, sports and work of general interest. For a preliminary three month session (maximum) minors under age 18 are assessed by specialists.
Based on observation and collected elements, a comprehensive report is drafted on the young person’s psychological, medical, legal and educational issues. This makes it possible for a judge to rule on appropriate final orientation.
